Writing is the tangible language form which illustrates ideas and thoughts concretely. This is something that another person can read in many different media whether in a printed material, electronic forms, digital devices or anything that can be held, touched or see.

Today, when students say, "I like to learn writing" what do they actually mean?

There are many areas of writing that are important to know about. Which of the many fundamentals of writing do students like to learn? In some instances depending on the level of learning needs, or current level of schooling of the student in need of writing lessons - a coach or tutor can easily determine where to begin when the student identifies where the deficiencies in writing are.

Ten Steps that will remove your Limitations and Become Competent ~

This is the overview of what you can become and you will experience life without limitations!




First Step: Learn from the basics, and then bring yourself to speed up to maximum level. Like the illustrated ladder of learning for someone who likes to become Communicative Competent.

Second Step: Distinguish yourself with the learning of proper and correct vocabulary. Use them efficiently at any location, event, or when you are sharing information with someone regardless of his/her background.


Third Step: Take time to practice with other people. There are many venues of learning and practicing.  The following is an example of the venue for practice. Some are free and some are paid. You get the value of what you pay for and the experience when it is given free.



Fourth Step: Understand the implications and sociological meanings of words, phrases, idiomatic expressions, slangs or the so called ‘lingua-franca’ By knowing when and where to say properly will create an impression of credibility among the people you share your ideas.



Fifth Step: When unsure, find someone who is experienced to help you. There is no better Coach than someone who is experienced in many areas of concern. Thousands of information is available in the internet, but when you cannot tell the difference of what is correct and which one is wrong, then the best advice is to seek the guidance of a Coach or a Teacher.  Either will tell you which is the best.



Sixth Step: When you begin grasping greater responsibilities, there is an expectation that you will demonstrate competence in leadership and management of an organization that is consist of people, activities, situations, revenues, communication and external factors. Four Essential Techniques Lead to Learning Language Competency of Global Business with Results

Four Essential Techniques in English Learning Lead to Results
1	Learn and create adequate English vocabulary supply with understanding:  Read materials that were written in English such as websites, blogs, articles, books, newspapers, journals, magazines, researches, technical essays, industry news and English dictionary with diacritical marks. By spending at least 30 minutes a day, you will learn new technical words.  An effective learning tool is to keep a small pocket booklet on your side when reading. Write every new word that you will come across. Then take a dictionary and understand the actual meaning of the word. Go back to the original material that you were reading and understand how the word was used. Every writer uses words differently depending on the setting of the material. Many use simple words, complex terminologies, idiomatic expressions or slangs that relate to the circumstances illustrated in the material.   It is essential to pay attention on how words are formed, connected, described and expanded with time and locations.  These are all important functions of words; including their arrangement. The key is to understand how they are being used. When in doubt, always seek the assistance of a Coach who can explain to you the linguistic features used.
2	Develop a 'Linguistic Ear' that is focused on distinct sounds and enunciation:  Listen carefully to different Agents of English sounds. When listening to an English speaker, train your ear to carefully listen on the distinct sounds of vowels and consonants within words. It is somehow difficult for a non-English speaker to train one’s ear to differentiate distinct sounds without the help of an experienced Language Coach or Teacher.  Besides people, other agents of sounds are devices that broadcast people’s voices speaking English language like televisions, radios, movies, YouTube videos, electronic devices and gadgets. When listening to these devices, practice to be attentive with how words are enunciated or pronounced.  Please note, that every speaker has a unique and distinct way in producing an English sound either vowel or consonant. Understanding the cultural background and its implications to speaking will be essential. Somehow, many use the English dictionary as their point of reference in learning the linguistic sounds but the speaker was enunciating it differently. Regional differences and locations of English speakers also play a role.  It is important to keep in mind that when learning English, you need to understand your current location, its regional difference from others, and how people say certain things and differ from other English speakers in other locations – this is a dialectical difference.  There is no one sound that fits all when it comes to sounds of the non-formal English language usage. In a formal environment, majority of people try to use the formal sounds of English vowels and consonants, however certain regions cannot be avoided due to regional accents. An English Language Coach helps learners to train their linguistic ear effectively by modeling the actual sounds, word formations, enunciations and stresses of words.
3	Use of technical vocabulary, phrases, and conversational utterances: To become at least a good conversationalist, one must demonstrate adequate technical vocabulary, phrases and appropriate utterances when engaging in a conversation.  The techniques 1 and 2 above helped the learner to acquire simple ways in developing a supply of words and understanding sounds. When engaging to a conversation with other English speakers, you are expected to use and show your knowledge and proficiency level in exchanging ideas, thoughts, commentaries, share opinions on certain topics that are being discussed.  Practice makes perfect in the best option to become conversationalist.   When you are not confident, accelerate your focus and practice techniques 1 and 2. Practice with friends and family members. Read materials, then discuss the topics, use words and phrases that you come across in different materials. Pay attention on how the sounds must be enunciated. Most people who like to become proficient at their best hire an English Language Coach who will evaluate their progress and engaging activities. Hearing an unbiased feedback will help learners to gain better and faster results of higher proficiency level.
4	Immersing oneself in real-time conversational situations:   The best option to learn and validate your authentic sounds, usage and practical expressions and utterances would be to engage in a real time conversations with other English speakers. Do not be afraid to commit mistakes. Everyone commits an error - learn it from experience.  When you come across of someone rude in terms of correcting your errors, don’t give up, ignore the rudeness and don’t speak to that person again until you are better to square of.  Find others who will understand and supportive to your learning process. Becoming Proficient with English Communication - Experienced Professionals can help

Each individual has strengths and weaknesses especially when relating to language proficiency or technical skills. Recognizing the deficiency within oneself will highlight your strengths to overcome the areas where development is needed. Scenario #1: Jovit - Independent English Learning
Jovit enjoys learning independently. He does not need a lot of help when learning English because he likes self discovery. Every now and then, he needs a Coach to help him understand areas that confuses him. He likes to confirm his thoughts and ideas whether they are correct or wrong. So he will work with his personal Coach to correct his deficiencies and explain the areas where he gets confused. Jovit's coach will be guiding him only as needed. Scenario #2: Akila - Excel, Powerpoint, Word Programs for Office
Akila was hired to work as an office manager at small office. However she never had an experience in using Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel. She needed some training and learn how to use these in order to support the departments that need documentations, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets. Akila hired her Coach who can help her to gain mastery in using these important office software programs. Her Coach will show her  hands-on activities that will create her immersion to actual learning while she is at work. In that way, her lessons support her immediate needs when doing her job. This class develops the essential skill and speaking proficiency when you live in an English speaking country. This will help you to converse and articulate your ideas and feelings everyday without fear and hesitation.

ESL is a subset of applied linguistics. It covers utterances, writing, reading, grammar, comprehension and cultural implications. The main objective is to learn and acquire English proficiency in order to use it like the way native speakers do. Experienced Language Trainer executes methodologies that will  give you adequate control of the language within 6 weeks. What is the Role of Vocabulary in Writing?

Writing is the tangible language form which illustrates ideas and thoughts concretely. This is something that another person can read in many different media whether in a printed material, electronic forms, digital devices or anything that can be held, touched or see.

Today, when students say, "I like to learn writing" what do they actually mean?

There are many areas of writing that are important to know about. Which of the many fundamentals of writing do students like to learn? In some instances depending on the level of learning needs, or current level of schooling of the student in need of writing lessons - a coach or tutor can easily determine where to begin when the student identifies where the deficiencies in writing are.

When you learn the technicalities of writing effectively, the following are basic areas to pay attention with.

Role of English Language in the Conversation - Acquire Proficiency

Language play an important role in the midst of conversation among members of the society. It will help in the formation of concepts, ideas, feelings and thoughts.  When you think of  a concept, you are using an imaginative skills but when you share that concept or idea to another individual, you will need a verbal form of the language to communicate your concept or idea.

English is a major language that is used in the United States and other English speaking countries around the world. It is also a major language that is used for business communication globally across cultures. English is a native language in the United States while it is learned as a second or third language of other language speakers at non-English speaking countries. 

Speaking in English is quite a challenge, specially when it is not your mother tongue. People from other parts of the globe who live in an English speaking country learn how to communicate in English. They acquire certain degree of proficiency in order to communicate effectively their thoughts, feelings and ideas. 

There are however big differences between the spoken and written forms of English. Many who learned English as their Second or Third language from a foreign country, they acquired grammatically-based knowledge and proficiency.  When they start speaking in a grammatically-based conversation, the native speakers are challenged when comprehending their utterances because the latter did not learn the grammatical syntax when speaking.  

Conversational English was never the focus of learning English in most foreign countries. One reason why many people who learned English in their countries can write and read effectively but not in speaking. 

Conversational English Language is an essential skill and competency when you live in an English speaking country.  It will help you to converse properly and articulate your ideas and feelings. 

If your second language is English, can you identify your proficiency level based on the scale provided below? 

Level 1 - searching for words or think a long time about the right word(s) to say when sharing an information 

Level 2 - can express basic utterances and information but limited in free flowing conversation

Level 3 - can handle an average conversation but limited in expanding thoughts and ideas
